About Us
Dr. Barry D. Belton
A 1985 graduate of University of North Carolina Dental School, Dr. Belton has cared for Rocky Mount residents with comprehensive, caring dentistry since 1988. He constantly pursues dental education through postgraduate courses that focus on total mouth harmony and whole-mouth health, including eight weeks at The Pankey Institute, two weeks at The Dawson Institute, and many weekend courses.
As a vested member of the dental community, Dr. Belton holds membership in the:
- American Dental Association
- North Carolina Dental Society
- Pankey Institute Alumni Association
- UNC-CH Dental Alumni Association Board of Directors
- Eastern NC L.D. Pankey Study Club
Dr. Belton believes in extending his services to those in need. He volunteers with dental clinics and work projects. He also spends time as a medical missionary in South America and is involved with Give Kids a Smile Day and Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Belton has been married since 1985; he and his wife, Amelia, have four children, three daughters and a son, to light up their lives. The family spends time together riding horses and going to baseball games. To keep fit, Dr. Belton likes running. He coaches the cross-country team at Faith Christian School.
Dr. Kevin C. Schrimper
Dr. Schrimper is a 1994 graduate of the University of North Carolina Dental School. He received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1990. After graduating from Dental school in 1994, he began practicing in Rocky Mount, staying close to his hometown of Raleigh, NC. Since dental school, he has continued his education in all fields of dentistry with a concentration in cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, and TMJ treatment. He has completed many of the Pankey Institute's continuums and studied at the Nash Institute and Dawson Institute. In addition, he regularly attends weekend courses.
He keeps abreast of the latest innovations in dentistry through his membership with:
- American Dental Association
- North Carolina Dental Association
- Fifth District Dental Society
Dr. Schrimper gives back to the community and helps those in need by volunteering with Give Kids a Smile Day, Missions of Mercy, and Mobile Dental Van.
Dr. Schrimper has been married since 1994. He and his wife, Jennifer, have five children, three girls and two boys. In his free time, Dr. Schrimper enjoys spending time with his family as well as computers, sports, and music.
